Set up your ChargePoint Account

To set up a ChargePoint Driver Management Solution account for your organisation, open the link received from ChargePoint and complete the following steps:

You will be the primary admin (i.e., Network Manager) for your organisation's ChargePoint Driver Management Solution account.

Fields with * are mandatory.

Tip: Select the button to see more information about a field.

Step 1: Create Your Login

To create your login, complete the following steps:

  1. Click the link received from ChargePoint to create your login.

  2. Enter the following information:

    1. Username: Enter a username for your account. Please note that the username cannot be changed after creation.

      The username does not need to be an email address.

    2. Password: Enter a password for your account.

    3. Re-type Password: Re-type the password for your account.

  3. Click Continue to Step 2 >> to save your changes and proceed.

Step 2: Enter Contact Information

To add your contact information, complete the following steps:

  1. Enter the following information:

    Contact Information

    Field Name

    Description

    First Name

    Enter a first name for the user.

    Last Name

    Enter a last name for the user.

    E-mail

    Enter the e-mail address for the user account.

    Address Line 1

    Enter the first line of address for the user account.

    Address Line 2

    Enter the second line of address for the user account.

    Country

    Enter the country for the user account.

    County/Region

    Enter the county/region for the user account.

    City

    Enter the city for the user account. .

    Postal Code

    Enter the postal code for the user account.

    Preferred Language

    Enter the Preferred Language settings for the user account. Select a language of your choice from the drop-down list.

    Phone

    Enter the phone number for the user account.

    Make sure to select the country code while entering your contact number.

    Mobile Phone

    Enter the mobile phone number for the user account.

    Fax

    (Optional) Enter the fax number for the user account. .

  2. Click Continue to Step 3 >> to save your changes and proceed.

Step 3: Enter Organisation Information

To enter your organisation information, complete the following steps:

  1. Enter the following information:

    Organisation Information

    Field Name

    Description

    Organisation Name

    Enter the name of the organisation.

    Station Common Name

    Enter your organisation name and the type of charging facility you are offering to drivers. For example, if ABC Co. is offering both home and public charging, you can enter ABC Home and Public. If ABC Co. is offering only public charging, you can enter ABC Public.

    This field is only applicable if you have purchased charging stations from ChargePoint.

    E-mail

    Enter the e-mail address of the organisation.

    Phone

    Enter the mobile phone number of the organisation. Make sure to select the country code while entering your contact number.

    Fax

    (Optional) Enter the fax number of the organisation.

    Address Line 1

    Enter the first line of address of the organisation.

    Address Line 2

    Enter the second line of address of the organisation.

    Country

    Enter the country of the organisation.

    Preferred Language

    Enter the Preferred Language settings for the organisation. Select a language of your choice from the drop-down list.

    County/Region

    Enter the county/region of the organisation.

    City

    Enter the city of the organisation.

    Postal Code

    Enter the postal code of the organisation.

  2. Click Continue to Step 4 >> to save your changes and proceed.

Step 4: Select Point of Contact

To select a point of contact, complete the following steps:

  1. ChargePoint recommends you (i.e., Network Manager) as the point of contact for the following communications:

    1. Flex Billing

    2. Services & Support

    3. System Admin

    4. New Station Request

    5. Administrative Notices

    6. Cloud Plan Renewals

    7. New System Features

    8. Driver Feedback

    9. Maintenance Feedback

  2. Select Me for all the fields and click Continue to Step 5 >> to save your changes and proceed.

Flex Billing is not applicable to your organisation. See Skip Flex Billing.

Step 5: Agree to Terms and Conditions

To accept ChargePoint's terms and conditions, complete the following steps:

  1. Enter your organisation's legally registered name.

  2. Review the ChargePoint Master Services and Subscription Agreement (MSSA) and click the check-box to agree to the MSSA terms and conditions.

  3. You can click the Print button to download or print a copy of the agreement.

Step 6: Skip Flex Billing

Flex Billing is not applicable to your organisation. Flex Billing is a billing system for organisations that own ChargePoint public or workplace charging stations. These organisations can set prices at each charging station they own, and ChargePoint collects, processes, and transfers the payments from station users (i.e., drivers) to station owners.

Select the Set up Flex Billing later option to skip Flex Billing and create your Network Manager account.

  • You will be redirected to the login page. Bookmark the login page for quick access.

  • Your organisation will be activated by ChargePoint as soon as the Master Subscription and Service Agreement (MSSA) is signed.
