New Connection
To create a new driver connection, complete the following steps:
Click the question mark symbol next to any item for more information.

Log in to the ChargePoint Platform.

Navigate to Drivers > Connections > New Connection.

Enter the following information:

Description
Org Name
Name of the organization associated with the connection (this field is read-only unless you manage multiple organizations).
Org Name for Drivers
Enter a user-friendly name that drivers will see.
Connection Name
Enter a name or select one of the following connection names from the drop-down list, to help drivers identify the connection in the mobile app:

Connection Type
Select one of the following a connection types allowed for the org form the drop-down list:

The connection type that you select is applied to the drivers in the connection and to the group of drivers.
Status
Click the Enable check-box to ensure that the connection is visible to ChargePoint account holders.
Connection Logo
Click the Upload file button to add an image in .gif, .jpg, or .png format. The image must be 60 x 30 pixels and no larger than 0.5 MB.
Organization Category
Select one of the following categories from the drop-down list, that best represents your organization:

Verify drivers by
Enter a verification method that you want the drivers to provide when requesting for connection. For example, Employee ID, Loyalty serial card number, account number.
Click the Ask existing drivers to update this field every check-box, then choose a time interval - 7, 15, 30, 60, or 90 days, from the drop-down list. This setting helps keep driver information accurate by prompting existing drivers to review and update their details at the selected interval. You can also define a regular expression pattern to validate driver input. Drivers will be required to update this field at the chosen interval if their response matches or does not match the specified pattern.
Click on the + symbol next to the Request Additional Info to add additional details.
Available to
Specify who can connect with your organization. For example, all EV drivers or employees only.
Benefits
Enter the benefits offered by your organization for connected drivers. For example, free charging, access, discounted rates.
Visible to
Select one of the following visible to options:
All Drivers: Select this option to ensure that the connection offer you plan to roll out is visible to all the ChargePoint Drivers.
Only drivers entering connection code: Select this option to enter a secret connection code to ensure that the offer is visible only to those drivers with whim you have shared the code, through email or other communication channels.
Auto-approve requests
Select one of the following options from the Auto-approve drop-down list:
Auto: Allow the ChargePoint system, to automatically approve incoming connection requests from all the drivers.
Manual: Disable automatic approval and to authorize someone in your organization to review and then approve or deny incoming connection requests from drivers. This option is enabled by default.
Send notifications when a driver connects
Select Yes or No from the drop-down list to indicate if a notification should be sent when a driver connects.
Web-only access
Select Yes or No from the drop-down list to indicate whether the invite link should be opened in a web browser or not.
Custom terms and conditions
Select Enabled or Disabled from the drop-down list to indicate whether you want the driver to agree to the terms and conditions when requesting for a connection to your organization.
You have the option to add a statement to which drivers must agree to complete their connection and receive the offer benefits. You can also choose to have a signed copy of the Terms and Conditions sent to a specified email so that you have a record of the agreement under that driver’s name. Use only plain text (ASCII) in the Terms and Conditions box. Do not include HTML or any other markup language.

Click Cancel to discard the changes and close the window.

Click Preview to review the connection details before saving.

Click Save to confirm and create the new connection.
