Grant Rights to Other Organizations

ChargePoint Platform enables users to grant and remove rights from other organizations.

As a station owner, you might want to outsource some or all of the tasks involved in managing your charging stations. You can use ChargePoint Platform to grant rights to another organization that will allow it to see usage reports, troubleshoot, or even install, provision, and configure your stations for you.

To access the Grant Rights tab, log in to ChargePoint Platform and navigate to Organizations > Grant Rights.

Before You Begin

The organization that you are granting rights to must already exist in the ChargePoint Platform. It is necessary that the company is already set up as an organization in the ChargePoint Platform.

To grant rights to a third party, you will need one of the following information from the third party organization:

• ChargePoint Organization ID

  You can obtain the ID from the organization’s network manager or ChargePoint Platform administrator.

• ChargePoint Organization Name

  Only applicable if the organization you are granting rights to has already granted rights to you first.
