Add Blocks

To add blocks, complete the following steps:

  1. Log in to the ChargePoint Platform and navigate to Fleet Operations > Blocks > Blocks.

  2. Click + Add and enter the following information:

    Blocks

    Field Name

    Description

    Block Name

    Enter a name for the block.

    Distance (mi)

    Specify the distance to be driven.

    Departure Depot

    Select the departure depot from the drop-down list.

    Departure

    Specify the time of departure.

    Repeat Block

    Specify the conditions of repeating the block schedule. You can specify days of the week, start and end date for the block.

    Arrival Depot

    Select the arrival depot from the drop-down list.

    Arrival

    Specify the time of arrival.

    Fleet

    Select the fleet from the drop-down list.

    Enabled

    Turn the toggle switch on to enable the block.

  3. Click Apply to save your changed.

  4. Click Cancel to discard your changes.

The newly added block is now available in the block overview page and can be assigned to vehicles in a fleet.

To add a block schedule in bulk, navigate to Fleet Operations > Block and click Import. Download the .XLSX file template and fill up the sheet with above listed data. Upload the filled up sheet and click Save.
