Analytics
The Analytics reports help you monitor the charging station activity and usage.
To view the analytics, log in to ChargePoint Platform and navigate to Reports > Analytics > Analytics Chart.
The Analytics Chart header appears above each chart in all Analytics Reports. Use the View drop-down list to select the type of data displayed in the chart.
Use the Show/Hide Columns option to customize the fields that appear in the report.

The Energy report displays the total electricity output across all stations. Use the Period drop-down list to select a predefined time interval or a custom range:

GHG Savings |
The Greenhouse Gas (GHG) Savings report estimates the GHG emissions offset by electric vehicle charging. The report is based on national average. For additional details, refer to GHG related FAQs. Use the Period drop-down list to select a predefined time interval or a custom range:

Stations |
The Stations report displays a historical record of station activation dates. Use the Period drop-down list to select a predefined time interval or a custom range:

Ports |
The Ports report is similar to the Stations report but tracks the number of ports instead of stations. Some stations have multiple ports. Use the Period drop-down list to select a predefined time interval or a custom range:

Sessions |
The Sessions report tracks the number of plug-in events across all stations. Each time an EV driver plugs into a station, it is recorded as a plug-in event. Use the Period drop-down list to select a predefined time interval or a custom range:

Number of API Calls |
The Number of API Calls report displays a graph of daily and accumulated API calls made by your organization to the ChargePoint Web Services API. Use the Period drop-down list to select a predefined time interval or a custom range:

Organization |
The Organization report displays a chart of daily and accumulated totals of activated organizations. This report is primarily useful for channel partners to track trends in acquiring new customers. Use the Period drop-down list to select a predefined time interval or a custom range:

Revenue |
The Revenue report displays the amount of money remitted to the station owner over a selected time period (daily, weekly, monthly, or yearly). The chart can be viewed by time (day, week, month, year) or by object (stations, groups) to identify trends and determine which stations or groups generate the most revenue. Use the Period drop-down list to select a predefined time interval or a custom range:

Peak Daily Occupancy |
The Peak Daily Occupancy report shows the highest simultaneous usage of stations within a 24-hour period.
For example, if there are 20 ports with a peak occupancy of 75%, it means that at their highest usage, 15 drivers were plugged in simultaneously, leaving 5 ports available. Use the Period drop-down list to select a predefined time interval or a custom range:

Session Length Histogram |
The Session Length Histogram displays the number of charging sessions categorized by duration, along with the cumulative percentage of sessions. This chart helps visualize how long drivers remain plugged in. For example, if 99.9% of 15,000 sessions lasted between 30 minutes and 11 hours, only a few sessions extended between 12 and 43 hours. To focus the chart on sessions lasting less than 12 hours, click Filter, select Total Duration, choose Less Than and enter 12:00:00. Use the Period drop-down list to select a predefined time interval or a custom range:

Unique Drivers |
The Unique Drivers report displays the number of individual drivers who plugged in during the selected time period, along with the total number of ports used. This report helps track how many unique employees, customers, or residents are using the charging stations. Use the Period drop-down list to select a predefined time interval or a custom range:
Use the By drop-down list and select Time to group the data accordingly. Use the radio buttons to choose the data scope:

Average Utilization |
The Average Utilization report displays the percentage of stations used in each group, sorted in descending order. This report helps identify areas with higher charging demand and where additional stations may be needed. Use the Period drop-down list to select a predefined time interval or a custom range:

Queue Depth |
The Queue Depth report displays the number of drivers waiting for Waitlist-enabled stations throughout the day. This report helps assess whether drivers can access charging or if additional stations are needed. Use the Period drop-down list to select a predefined time interval or a custom range:
Use the By drop-down list and select Time of the Day to group the data accordingly. Normalize by Number of Ports : Select this check-box to display data as a ratio of unique drivers in queue to the number of ports they are waiting for. After selecting your filters, click Update to generate the chart. The chart visually represents the selected data set with the following layout:

Peak Queue |
The Peak Queue report displays the maximum number of drivers waiting for Wait-list-enabled stations each day. This report can be normalized by dividing the queue depth by the number of ports, offering a per-port view of wait times. If the queue depth consistently exceeds twice the number of ports, adding more stations may be necessary. Use the Period drop-down list to select a predefined time interval or a custom range:
Use the By drop-down list and select Time to group the data accordingly. Normalize by Number of Ports (Checkbox): Select this checkbox to display data as a ratio of unique drivers in queue to the number of ports they are waiting for. After selecting your filters, click Update to generate the chart. The chart visually represents the selected data set with the following layout:

Wait Time |
The Wait Time report shows the distribution of how long drivers waited before being offered a charging spot at Wait-list-enabled stations. For example, if the average wait time is 41 minutes, most drivers may receive a port within 30 minutes. Long wait times may indicate a need for additional stations or policy adjustments to improve availability. Use the Period drop-down list to select a predefined time interval or a custom range:

Session Details Table |
The Session Details Table provides a sortable overview of all charging session details. Use the Period drop-down list to select a predefined time interval or a custom range:
Use the By drop-down list and select Time to group the data accordingly.
Once you select an option, the file is automatically downloaded to your Downloads folder. |
You can apply multiple filters to narrow down the data. Select the Add Filter button to include additional fields. Select Contains/Does Not Contain/Is from the drop-down list. Select Match all or Match any radio button. Click Apply Filters to take into consideration the selection made in the filter and generate the report.
Click the Export button to download the data for analysis, auditing, troubleshooting, or compliance tracking.
Export (visible columns): Exports only the fields selected in the Show/Hide Columns.
Export (all columns): Exports all connection data fields, regardless of visibility.
