Create a Pricing Rule
To create a pricing rule, configure the following steps:
You will need to repeat these steps for each driver group to which you want to assign unique pricing.

Log in to ChargePoint CMS Suite.

Navigate to Finance > Pricing Rules.

Click + Create.

Enter the following information and click Next.

Organization
Select your organization from the drop-down list.
Rule name
Enter a name for your pricing rule. Rule names can describe an audience (Employees, Visitors, Customers, etc.) or time of day (Before work, During work, After work, Weekends, etc.) or any other aspect to distinguish between rules.
Description
Enter a description for the pricing rule.
Basic pricing details
Energy rate
Specify the energy rate charged for the energy consumed.
Select one of the following energy rate type from the Energy pricing drop-down list.
Free: Drivers can charger for free. You do not have specify rates to configure the pricing rule.
Fixed price: Station owners can set up their own fixed prices.
Define the Rate ($) charged. Specify if the price should be charged Per kWh, Per hour or Per minute and enter the value.
Per kWh: A fixed cost for every unit of energy consumed.
Per hour/Per minute: A flat rate for the time the vehicle is plugged in.
Vary price by time of use: Configure varied price based on the day and time. Define the following parameters:
Select days: Specify the days of the week. You can select multiple days.
Start time: Specify the start time.
End time: Specify the end time.
Rate ($): Define the Rate ($) charged.
Per kWh/Per hour/Per minute: Specify if the price should be charged Per kWh, Per hour or Per minute and enter the value.
Click Add more hours to set up different prices for different periods for the one set of days.
Click Add more days to set up varied prices for the different days in a week.
Station time rate
Enable Station time rate to set up a price for the total time a vehicle is connected to the charging station.
Define the rate charged for the total time connected, whether the vehicle was charging or not.
Choose one of the following rate types:
Fixed price: Station owners can set up their own fixed prices.

Overstay rate
Enable the toggle to configure a time-based rate calculated while the vehicle is connected to the charging station and applied upon charging completion after a grace period or after a maximum connection time has been reached.
Configure the following parameters:
Apply when: Specify if the overstay rate is to be applied when the Time limit exceeds or when the Vehicle stops charging or is fully charged.
Rate ($): Specify the overstay rate.
Per hour/Per minute: Specify if the price should be charged Per hour or Per minute.
After: Specify the hr and min after which the overstay rate is to be applied.
Select Days: Specify the days on which the overstay rate is to be applied.
Start time: Enter the start time for the overstay rule.
End time: Enter the end time for the overstay rule.
Session fee
Enable the toggle to configure a fixed fee applied upon initiating a charging session.
Maximum fee
Enable the toggle to set up the maximum cost of a charging session excluding taxes and ChargePoint Service Fees.
Minimum fee
Enable the toggle to set up the minimum cost of a charging session excluding taxes and ChargePoint Service Fees.

Check the Summary sidebar to review the details and click Create to confirm the changes.
The newly created pricing rule will be available in the overview tab. Click on the horizontal ellipsis (...) under the Actions parameter to view options available for modifying or deleting a pricing rule.
