Tax Rules
The ChargePoint Platform enables stations owners to create and manage tax rules that can be applied to drivers and driver groups. Tax rules can be applied across stations or groups of stations.
To access the Tax Rules tab, log in to ChargePoint Platform and navigate to Finance > Tax Rules.
The table below describes the fields available in this tab.
Click the
icon to customize the columns in the overview table. Select parameters and click Apply to modify the overview table.

Tax Rule Name |
Displays the name of the tax rule. |

Text to Display to Driver |
Displays the text that is visible to the drivers. |

Org Name |
Displays the name of the organization. |

Tax Rate |
Specifies the tax rate. |

Specifies the rate type in %. |

Type |
Specifies the type of the tax. |

Remittance by |
Specifies the party that initiates remittance. |

Applies To |
Specifies the percentage of charging price on which the tax rule is applied. |

Effective Date |
Specifies the effective date for the tax rule. |

Expiry Date |
Specifies the expiry date for the tax rule. |

Geo Definition |
Specifies the station location. |

Status |
Indicates the status of the tax rule (Enabled or Disables). |

No. of Stations |
Displays the number of stations the tax rule is applied to. |

Customer Tax Rule ID |
Displays the unique identifies of the customer tax rule. |

Description |
Displays the description for the tax rule. |
Currently, creating a tax rule is supported only in the old UI experience. We are still moving features over to the new interface. Click Create tax rule in old UI to switch platforms and complete your task or click Cancel to discard the changes.
Refer to Create a Tax Rule to perform the action in the old UI.
Click the
Filter icon to filter the data. Specify a parameter from the Filter drop-down. Select Contains/Does Not Contain/Is from the Condition drop-down and enter a Value for the filter. You can apply multiple filters simultaneously to narrow down the data by clicking the + Add Filter button. Click Apply Filters to apply the selected filters and generate updated results. Click the
icon to remove filters from the search. Click Clear all to remove all the filters.
