Grant Rights to a Third Party

To grant rights to a third party organisation, configure the following steps:

  1. Log in to your ChargePoint Driver Management Solution account.

  2. Navigate to Organisations > Grant Rights.

  3. Click Grant New Rights and enter the following information.

    Select Organisation.

    From Organisation

    Enter the name of your organisation that is granting the rights.

    Rights

    Select Network Management. For more information on roles and privileges, see Roles.

    Access Level

    Select one or more of the following access levels:

    • Complete Transaction Data: View and export driver's transaction details and home charger installation details with price details.

    • Transaction Data Without Pricing: View and export driver's transaction details and home charger installation details without price details.

    • Onboard/Remove Drivers: Invite, approve, and remove drivers

      Select either Complete Transaction Data or Transaction Data Without Pricing and not both. You can either provide access to price details or not.

    To Third-Party Org

    Enter the ChargePoint Org ID or Organisation Name of the organisation that you are granting these rights to. Enter the Org Name and select an auto-complete option if you have rights to that organisation. Otherwise, you must enter the organisation’s ID.

    To obtain the Org ID, please contact the organisation’s Network Manager (ChargePoint administrator).

    Receive Emails on admin creation

    Select Yes or No to enable or disable notifications on admin account creation.

    Description

    Add a description or other remarks for this grant.

    Over Org/Groups

    Expand the tree of your organisation to select individual stations, groups of stations (radio groups or custom groups), or all your stations.

    If you select a group of stations, any future station you add to the group will automatically become available to the third party to whom you’re granting rights. If you grant rights to all your stations, then any future station you add will similarly become available to the third party.

    An asterisk ( * ) next to an organisation in the Over Orgs/Groups column indicates that the third-party organisation has access to these rights.

  4. Click Grant Rights.

    Access rights are granted immediately and made available in the Orgs That See Me list. An asterisk ( * ) in the Over Orgs/Groups column indicates that the third party has these rights to all of your stations.

  5. Click Cancel to discard the changes and close the window.
