Create a Power Sharing Group

To create a power sharing group, complete the following steps:

1. Log in to ChargePoint Platform.

2. Navigate to Stations > Create Group.

   The New Station Group window is displayed.

2. Enter a Group Name and an optional Group Description.

3. Select Custom Group as the group type and Energy Management as the subcategory from the drop-down list.

4. Click Add New Custom Group Type to create your own.

5. Click the Power Sharing Group check-box to enable the power management feature.

   Keep Station Common Name blank unless you want to change all group station names.

6. Click Add existing Station/Group.

7. Select the stations you want to add to the group. You can choose entire custom or radio groups or expand those groups to show and select individual stations.

   A station can only be part of one power sharing group at a time.

8. Click Add, and then click Save.

   The new power sharing group is saved, and then ChargePoint contacts the stations in this group to enable Power Sharing.
