Edit an Access Policy

To edit an access policy, complete the following steps:

  1. Log in to ChargePoint.

  2. Navigate to Charger Management > Access Control.

  3. Go to the access policy you wish to change and click on the horizontal ellipsis (...) under the Actions parameter.

  4. Click Edit Access Policy.

  5. Modify the parameters.

  6. Click Update.

  7. Click Cancel to discard the changes and close the window.

Delete an Access Policy

To delete an access policy, complete the following steps:

  1. Log in to ChargePoint.

  2. Navigate to Charger Management > Access Control.

  3. Go to the access policy you wish to delete and click on the horizontal ellipsis (...) under the Actions parameter.

  4. Click Delete.

  5. Click Delete again when prompted.

  6. Click Cancel to cancel the action.

Hide an Access Policy

Alternatively, if you want a policy to appear removed yet be able to re-apply it in the future, complete the following steps:

  1. Log in to ChargePoint Platform.

  2. Navigate to Charger Management > Access Control > Apply Access Policies.

  3. Click on the drop-down arrows ⌄ on the left of your organization name to display a list of your charging stations. Find the station you want by clicking through Custom Groups or Radio Groups.

  4. Click on the horizontal ellipsis (...) under the Actions parameter.

  5. Select Update Access Policy.

  6. Choose No drivers from the Change Visible To drop-down.

  7. In the Change Visible to drop-down, select the group who can see the station.

    Selecting No Drivers hides the station from everyone—even drivers with access to the station.

  8. Click Apply.
