Apply Waitlist Policy
ChargePoint’s Waitlist feature is a virtual queuing system designed to manage demand when all charging spots at a specific location are occupied. It allows drivers to get in line via the mobile app or by tapping their card, ensuring orderly access and reducing the need for drivers to wait in person.
To apply a new waitlist policy, configure the following steps:

Log in to ChargePoint CMS Suite.

Navigate toWaitlist Management.

Click Apply Waitlist Policies tab.

Click on the horizontal ellipsis (...) under the Actions parameter to view options available for updating or deleting a waitlist policy.

Click Update Waitlist Policy.

Select your new waitlist policy from the New Waitlist Policy drop-down list. You can apply a new waitlist policy to individual stations or a group of stations.

Click Apply.
Once the waitlist policy has been successfully applied, a green check mark with Success appears beside the station.

Name |
Displays the name of the station. |

Current Waitlist Policy |
Displays the current waitlist policy applied to the station. |

Status |
Shows the current status of the waitlist policy. A green check mark with Success appears beside the station when the policy is applied. Otherwise, the status displays as In Progress. |

Success |
Indicates the number of stations for which the waitlist policy is successfully applied. |

In Progress |
Indicates the number of stations for which the waitlist policy is yet to be applied and is in progress. |
|
Failure |
Indicates the number of stations for which the waitlist policy could not be applied. |
Click Update Waitlist Policy to assign a new waitlist policy.
Click Remove Waitlist Policy to delete a waitlist policy.
Click the Refresh arrows to query the database and update the screen.
