Vehicle

The Vehicle tab enables user to view and manage vehicle details, including license plates, serial numbers, make, model, and year. It helps track VIN, payment source, telematics provider, and fleet assignment. You can also filter and export vehicle data for further analysis.

To access the Vehicle tab, log in to ChargePoint Platform and navigate to Fleets > Manage > Vehicle.

Use the Show/Hide Columns option to customize the fields that appear in the report.

The table below outlines the available columns you can include in the Vehicle tab.

Vehicle Data Field Reference

Field Name	Description
License Plate	The vehicle’s license plate number.
ChargePoint Card Serial Number	The unique serial number of the ChargePoint card.
Vehicle ID	Identifies the vehicle within the system.
VIN	The Vehicle Identification Number.
Color	Indicates the vehicle’s color.
Make	The manufacturer.
Model	The model.
Year	The vehicle’s model year.
User ID	The user associated with the vehicle.
Payment Source	Indicates the payment method linked to the vehicle
Payment Status	Displays the payment status
Organization	Shows the organization that owns the vehicle
Telematics Provider	Displays the vehicle’s telematics service provider
Telematics Status	Indicates the status of the telematics integration
Fleet Name	Shows the fleet to which the vehicle belongs.
Vehicle Creation Date (Pacific Time)	Displays when the vehicle was added to the system

You can apply multiple filters to narrow down the data. Select the Add Filter button to include additional fields. Select Contains/Does Not Contain/Is from the drop-down list. Select Match all or Match any radio button. Click Apply Filters to take into consideration the selection made in the filter and generate the report.

Click the Export button to download the data for analysis, auditing, troubleshooting, or compliance tracking.

Export (visible columns): Exports only the fields selected in the Show/Hide Columns.

Export (all columns): Exports all connection data fields, regardless of visibility.
