Session Limit
The Session Limit tab enables you to manage EV charging sessions effectively by setting constraints on charging duration, energy consumption, or the State of Charge (SOC). It ensures optimal power distribution, prevents unnecessary energy consumption, and improves charging efficiency by enabling users to access live charging data, session logs and historical usage reports. The key benefits include:
-
Optimized Charging Time: Restricts session duration to maximize station availability.
-
Energy Conservation: Sets limits on kWh delivered to avoid excessive energy use.
-
Enhanced User Control: Prevents overuse and ensures fair energy distribution among users.
-
Customizable Constraints: Defines session restrictions based on operational requirements.
The table below describes the fields available in this tab.
|
Field Name |
Description |
|
Name |
Displays the name of the station group. |
|
Session Limit |
Indicates whether session limit is enabled for the group. |
|
SOC (%) |
Displays the state of charging in percentage. |
|
time (hrs,min) |
Displays the time limit applied to the session. |
|
energy (kWh) |
Displays the energy limit applied to the session. |
You can apply multiple filters to narrow down the data. Select the Add Filter button to include additional fields. Select Contains/Does Not Contain/Is from the drop-down list.
