Shed Load

To shed load for a specific station group, complete the following steps:

  1. Log in to ChargePoint Platform.

  2. Navigate to Manage Energy > Shed/Restore.

  3. Use the Filter panel to locate the desired station group.

  4. Click on a station group and then click Edit. The Shed Load window is displayed.

  5. The values in the Organization Name, Name, Type, and Description fields are automatically populated based on the selection made.

  6. Enter the following information:

    1. Duration: Enter the duration for which shedding will remain active.

    2. Shed Mode: Click Absolute Maximum Output Per Port or Relative Percent of Present Load radio button to select the shed mode.

    3. Value (kW per port): Enter the maximum power allocation per port.

  7. Click Shed to apply the changes.

  8. Click Cancel to discard the changes and close the window.

Restore Load

To restore load for a specific station group, complete the following steps:

  1. Log in to ChargePoint Platform.

  2. Navigate to Manage Energy > Shed/Restore.

  3. Use the Filter panel to locate the desired station group for which the shed settings need to be reverted.

  4. Click Restore to restore the original power allocation.

  5. Click OK to confirm the changes.

  6. Click Cancel to discard the changes and close the window.
