Granting Objects

Granting objects is a two-step process:

1. The granting organization uses ChargePoint Platform to grant the object(s) to the station owner.

   No individual driver data is revealed. The receiving organization maintains its own connections, driver groups, and fleets.

2. The station owner receives those granted objects.

   The station owner then uses them to create access and pricing policies and/or applies the video ad directly onto charging stations.

To grant objects to an organization, follow these steps:

1. Log in to ChargePoint Platform.

2. Navigate to Organizations > Grant Objects.

3. Click Grant New Objects and enter the following information.

   1. From Org: Enter the name of your organization.

   2. To Third-Party Org: Enter the ChargePoint Org ID number or the name of the organization that you are granting these objects to.

   3. (Optional) Description: Add a brief description or other remarks about this grant.

   4. Driver Group: Select a driver group from the drop-down list.

   5. Fleet: Select a fleet from the drop-down list.

   6. Video Ads: Select a video ad from the drop-down list.

      To include multiple objects in one category, select them one at a time from the dropdown menu.

4. Click Grant Objects.

   The granted objects will immediately appear on the Orgs that see my objects tab.

5. Click Cancel to discard the changes and close the window.
