Vehicle Communication Board

To replace the SEVB Smart Ethernet Vehicle Board (Vehicle Communications Board) inside PD Controller, perform the following steps:

Required Tools and Materials

Tools

T20 Screwdriver

Mobile elevating work platform (scissor lift), as needed

Before You Begin

1. Power off.

2. Open the PD Controller.

Replace the SEVB

1. Use T20 screwdriver, and loosen the screws (x2).

   

   Torque these screws to 1.13 Nm (10 in-lb).

2. Disconnect the cables connectors (x7) from the SEVB Smart Ethernet Vehicle Board.

   

3. Lift the SEVB Smart Ethernet Vehicle Board vertically to disengage it from the keyhole slots, then remove it from the mounting surface.

4. Reverse the above steps to reinstall with replacement SEVB Smart Ethernet Vehicle Board.
