Approve Connection Requests

The ChargePoint Platform allows users to approve connection requests automatically. Unless Auto-approve is enabled, all connection requests must be manually approved or denied.

Only a Network Manager, Property Manager, or Connections Officer can approve or deny connection requests.

You can approve connection requests from the Dashboard as well the Drivers table.

To approve or deny connections requests, complete the following steps:

  1. To approve or deny connection requests, log in to ChargePoint Platform, navigate to Dashboard, click the Connection Requests button.

    The number in the blue circle on the right side of the button displays the number of pending connection requests from drivers.

  1. Click the check-box next to any or all driver’s names.

  2. Click the Approve or Deny button.

  1. Alternatively, from the Drivers tab, you can approve or deny connection requests from the Drivers table.

  2. Select the driver(s) and click Approve or Deny.

  3. Click the Update Connection drop-down to select Approve,Deny, or Remove.

  4. Optional: Assign the driver(s) to a custom driver group (see Creating custom driver groups for instructions), then click Approve connection.

    If you haven’t created any custom driver groups, the approved drivers are automatically added to the default All Connected Drivers group.

    The selected drivers are now connected with your organization and included in your list of All Connected Drivers.
