Average Session Length

The Average Session Length data chart displays two main components of charging session length, the time the vehicle is actively being charged and the time the vehicle is plugged in but not charging which is known as Idle Time. If the duration of idle time is long, it is an indicator that the station is not being fully used and may not be available when other drivers want to charge. ChargePoint provides several ways to encourage drivers to unplug when they are done charging, including pricing policies and notifications.
