Mount the CMK

Perform the following steps to mount the CMKClosed Cable Management Kit:

  1. Position the Cable Management Kit (CMKClosed Cable Management Kit) packaging near the wall.

    Place the front brackets within reach.

  2. If you do not see a knot tied near the top of the cable clamp rope, pull the rope out about 600 mm (2 ft) and tie a slip knot near the top of the CMKClosed Cable Management Kit.

  3. Remove and discard the shipping screws.

    When you remove the shipping screws, the counterweights are free to move in either direction. To prevent damage or injury, always carry the assembly with the top end higher than the bottom end.

  4. If present, remove the spacer.

  5. Stand the CMKClosed Cable Management Kit upright slowly. The counterweights will drop.

  6. Tilt the CMKClosed Cable Management Kit up against the rear brackets, rest the bottom on the ground and steady with one hand while using the other to position the top front bracket.
