Where can I charge my EV?

You can charge your EV at any publicly accessible location in the ChargePoint network or in our roaming partner networks, including EVgo, FLO, Ionity, Allego, Innogy, EVBox and others. Use the ChargePoint app to find and access stations near you.

How do I find charging stations with the ChargePoint app?

To find charging stations, complete the following steps:

  1. Log in to the ChargePoint app, click FIND STATIONS and enter your location, or click Explore charging map to view the charging map.

  2. Use your current location or search another area to find charging stations. A number inside a circle indicates the total number of charging spots at that location. Click on the number to view individual stations.

    Tip: Stations are represented by colored pins as explained below:

    • Green: Charging spot is available

    • Blue: Charging spot is in use

    • Gray: Charging spot is out of service or closed

  3. Click on a station pin to view details at the bottom of the screen. You will find information such as charging costs, station location photos, and tips from other drivers.

  4. Select a charging spot and click the orange car at the bottom of the screen to get directions through your preferred map.

Does ChargePoint work with Apple CarPlay?

Does ChargePoint work with Android Auto?

Yes. Connect your Android phone to your vehicle to access the ChargePoint app using the Android Auto display and get information about charging spots. Alternatively you can also start charging from your car.

What are the circles on the map for?

The number in the circle indicates the total number of charging spots in an area. The colors show the breakdown of charging spots by status as explained below:

  • Green: Charging spot is available
  • Blue: Charging spot is in use

  • Gray: Charging spot is out of service or closed
