Create a Pricing Rule
To create a pricing rule, configure the following steps:
You will need to repeat these steps for each driver group to which you want to assign unique pricing.

Log in to ChargePoint Platform.

Navigate to Stations > Pricing and Reservation.

Click Create Pricing Rule.

On the Getting Started tab, configure the Organization type and Station Location (Country and State).

Click Next.

Enter a Name and Organization for your pricing rule. Rule names can describe an audience (Employees, Visitors, Customers, etc.) or time of day (Before work, During work, After work, Weekends, etc.) or any other aspect to distinguish between rules.

Select one of the following Station types:

Level 2 (hour cost display): Up to 25 miles RPH (miles of Range Per Hour)

DC Fast (minute cost display): 100 to 200 miles RPH (miles of Range Per Hour)Click Next.

Select one of the following:

ChargePoint Recommended: Best practices pricing for your specific location to recover electricity costs and encourage drivers to move their cars. You can change the preset values on the next step.

Advanced: Pick and choose from all available pricing options to create a custom rule that best fits your organization.

Credit Card: Select appropriate external credit card payment terminal pricing. This option is not supported on all stations. The credit card pricing applies to the stations which have an external payment terminal installed such as a Payter terminal. This pricing rule can be configured on stations such as: Alpitronic, ABB, Freewire and Tritium. This rule can be configured under Pricing Rules and then directly mapped to the station under the configuration tab.

(Optional) Enable Station Time Rate.

Define the Station Time Rate by specifying the cost per minute/hour.

Select Driver ends sessions or Time limit exceeded to specify the duration for the Station Time Rate validity.

Define the Overstay/Station Time Rate and specify the Time limit for the overstay.

Click Save.
