Create a Station Message

To create a station message, complete the following steps:

1. Log in to ChargePoint Platform.

2. Navigate to Stations > Station Messages.

3. Click New Station Message.

4. Enter a unique Station Message Name.

5. (Optional) Enter a more-detailed Description of this message for internal use.

6. Enter the Org Name, if it hasn’t already been entered for you.

7. Enter the Station Message Text Line 1 (15 characters max) for the fixed top line.

8. Enter the Station Message Text Line 2 (64 characters max) for the continuously scrolling bottom line.

   Stations with a 2-line display will show Line 1 fixed with Line 2 continuously scrolling; whereas stations with a graphical interface will show the entirety of both lines at the same time.

   If a symbol is not available on your station’s display, use the text equivalent instead. For example, PERCENT instead of %.

9. Click Save.

Your new message is now displayed in your list of station messages.
