Pintpoint New Station

To pinpoint a station in the ChargePoint Network Owner System and request to connect to the desired location, configure the following steps:

1. Log in to ChargePoint Platform.

2. Navigate to Stations > Table View > Pinpoint New Station or Stations > Org/Group View > Pinpoint New Station.

3. Enter a MAC Address and Activation Password.

4. Click Verify.

   The ChargePoint Station Installation window will open.

5. Verify the MAC Address and Activation Password and click Next.

6. Specify the type of installation (installing a new station or installing a replacement) and click Next.

7. You can drag the pin to the exact location of the station on the map. You can also edit the address below if required.

   The Map provides terrain as well as satellite view. You can pinch and drag or use the arrows to navigate to the location of the station.

8. Alternatively, click Manually edit the address and enter the following information:

   1. Street 1: Enter the first line of the street address in which the station is located.

   2. Street 2: Enter the second line of the street address in which the station is located.

   3. City: Enter the city in which the station is located.

   4. State: Enter the state in which the station is located.

   5. County: Enter the county in which the station is located.

   6. Zip/Postal Code: Enter the zip/postal code in which the station is located.

9. (Optional) Add tips for drivers under Helpful Information for Drivers.

10. Select the This station is installed in a building with multiple floors check-box if your station is installed in a building with multiple floors.

11. Click Take a photo or choose existing * to upload a picture of the station.

    If the browser prevents you from taking a photo, exit the browser, take a photo, save it, come back to this page and add the saved photo.

12. Click Submit to pinpoint your station.

13. Click Reset Form to discard the changes.
