  2. Navigate to Stations > Waitlist > Waitlist Policies.

  3. Click Create Waitlist Policy.

  4. Enter a Waitlist Policy Name and optionally add a brief Description.

  5. Enter the Org Name, if it has not already been entered for you.

  6. Enter the following information:

    Waitlist Policy

    Field Name

    Description

    Type of Station

    AC: Drivers charge for hours.

DC: Drivers charge for minutes (less than an hour typically).

    Time to Respond

Define the time a driver has to respond (Accept, Snooze or Remove) when notified it’s his/her turn. The driver will be auto-snoozed if he/she does not respond within this time.

    Maximum Snoozes

Define the maximum number of snoozes the driver gets before the driver is automatically removed from a Waitlist.

    Time to plug

Define the maximum time a driver has to plug in their vehicle after accepting a notification that a charging spot is available.

    Limit

Set a limit after which drivers will be notified that their charging session is finished. You can set one or more of these options:

    • Vehicle is fully charged

    • Maximum Time: Duration of the charging session (hours and minutes).

    • Maximum Energy: Energy delivered to vehicle (kWh).

The first limit reached triggers the notification. For example, a driver can be notified that charging is finished if the charging time limit is reached even if that vehicle is not fully charged.

Only if someone is on the Waitlist

Select this option if you do not want to notify drivers at all times.

    After session ends

Define the time limit after which the driver is expected to move the vehicle.

  7. (Optional) You can turn off the move notifications during periods of low activity so drivers are notified only when another driver is waiting. By default, this option is set late in the day, but you can customize the time range or deselect the option completely.

If you deselect this option, drivers will always be notified to move their vehicles, even if no one is on the Waitlist.

  8. For Advanced details, see Advanced Waitlist Policy Settings.

  9. Click Save.
